Employee Responsibilities

  As an employee or IC of TigerSwan, you have several responsibilities in export controls. It is important that you take ownership, know your obligations, and thoroughly read and understand the training provided to you and the Technical Assistance Agreements or other licensing authorizations you are working under. Prior to traveling internationally, work with Tom Wright to ensure all proper documentation is in place, particularly if you are bringing controlled objects, such as a laptop, blackberry, or Personal Data Assistant (PDA). In addition, you should know where to go for help, support Tom Wright and provide all necessary information, report any suspected violations per policy, and provide full information for submissions to the U.S. Government. Part of your mission is to support the United States in its goal to further democracy and world peace — you must remember that your role in that goal is to help support Foreign Policy and National Security by following the U.S. Export and Import regulations.
