Processing Times

  License and Agreement processing times vary. A lot of factors contribute to how long it will take to obtain your authorization. The chart above is based on average processing times. However staffing at the State Department, applications in support of Iraqi or Enduring Freedom and National Security Policy at any given time will all affect the timeframe.

The important thing to remember is to give your export compliance professional enough time to obtain the proper authorization. Build the time it takes to get authorization into your contracts and delivery orders. Often times business development folks forget to add the time it takes to get an approval into the process and end up having to pay late fees on delivery while waiting for the authorization to be approved. Keep your company competitive and build that extra time in at the front end of your business dealings.
