Just as important to complying with regulations is knowing if there are any Third Country Nationals (TCNs) working on your project — this is very common in the European Union and the Middle East. For example, a person may hold citizenship in France but work in the United Kingdom.
The Import and Export regulations have strict requirements on how to manage TCNs and there may be the requirement to have any TCN working the project sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement, be licensed separately, or not be allowed to work on the project at all.
Your compliance professional will request you gather all citizenship information from the parties you would like to work with in order to determine what actions are required for them to be compliant with regulations.
